There is a reason no one scores 400/400 in CSE.
People score a 100% in GMAT, CAT and GRE tests. But you will not find a single person ever scoring 400/400 in CSE prelims. And there is a reason. The syllabus is too vast and the topics are not defined in a clear cut way. This is what makes the examination so fantastic. You can probably count the number of people exceeding 300 on your fingers and toes.
Even the toppers cannot answer all the questions that appear in the CSE. So, do not worry if you miss a couple here and there. That is alright. As long as you are never below the 60% mark in GS and 45% mark in CSAT, you do not have a lot to worry. That, of course, does not mean you can take things too lightly. It only means you are on the right path and that you need to keep improving.
For those who are not yet there, please keep studying the basics in the NCERTs and answer as many questions as possible from the questions section here. You will get there if you work hard enough.
The same with answer writing โ if you feel you are not upto the mark, keep practicing and get it peer-reviewed. This is where a study group comes in handy. And do not worry. Nobody is going to steal your answers. If somebody trusts your answers and notes more than newspaper articles, the NCERTs and stuff from the textbook, chances are you will anyways end up writing better answers than them.
