The ocean basin consists of the following (but not limited to) features:
- Continental Shelf
- Continental Slope
- Continental Rise
- Abyssal plains
- Abyssal fans
- Oceanic trench
- Volcanic islands
- Submarine ridges
- Submarine canyons
